This is the first Jack Nicklaus signature golf course in Mexico. Millions of television viewers marveled at the Palmilla Golf Club's course and it's spectacular setting when network coverage of the 1997 Senior PGA TOUR senior slam was broadcast worldwide for a couple of days, an event won by Hale Irwin. Golfers have a view of the Sea of Cortez from nearly every hole on the course. Palmilla is considered Tour Material by golf critics and professionals worldwide.
